With over 33 years dedicated to men’s health, Dr. Stuart Oake has long been committed to improving access and quality of care. His work led to the creation of an innovative academic Men’s Health Centre in Ottawa in 2021, focused on closing the five-year life expectancy gap between men and women in Canada — a gap largely driven by preventable, male-specific health risks. Recognizing the inefficiencies in traditional care pathways, Dr. Oake founded Worthy Health, a virtual platform designed to streamline caseloads for urologists and accelerate patient care. By improving access, enhancing efficiency, and supporting timely, high-quality care, Worthy Health is helping reshape how men’s health is delivered across Canada.
